We also include jojoba oil, which is non-comedogenic and helps balance your skin's natural oil production. If you have very acne-prone skin, we recommend patch testing on a small area first.

Fair question — and yes, many tallow products do have a noticeable beefy smell. Ours doesn't. Our tallow is carefully rendered and purified to remove any animal odor before we ever add anything else. Grass-fed means the animal ate grass at some point in its life. Grass-finished means it ate grass its entire life — right up until harvest, with no grain finishing period. This distinction matters because grain finishing changes the fatty acid profile of the tallow, reducing the omega-3s and fat-soluble vitamins that make it so beneficial for skin. Our tallow is both grass-fed and grass-finished, sourced from American cattle raised on pasture their entire lives.

A 3 oz jar typically lasts 4 to 8 weeks with daily use depending on how much you apply and how many areas you cover.
